Description
A fine and delicate watercolour landscape, by the artist and architect Len J. Connor OBE RIBA FRSA. Entitled 'Family Picnic at Clifton Hampden', the setting is a village in Oxfordshire, England, with four figures on the banks of the river. The bridge was designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott, with six gothic red brick arches. The work has been previously exhibited at The Mall Galleries, London, S.W.1, indicated on the label to the reverse. Well-presented in a green mount and gilt wooden frame, as shown. Signed and incsribed on the reverse. On wove.Condition
In fine condition overall. Some marks and scuffing to the corners of the frame, as shown.
