Late 19th Century Oil - Life Cycle of a Butterfly
DescriptionAn interesting study of the life cycle of a butterfly. From a chrysalis, to caterpillar, and butterfly. Unsigned. On board.
Losses to the corners of the board, with scuffing and creasing to the lower left and right edge. Areas of discolouration and paint wear. The wings of the butterflies appear to have been partially removed, possibly by an attempt of restoration gone wrong at an earlier date.
