L.B - Sepia Mid 19th Century Watercolour, Dog Rescuing a Shipwrecked Sailor
DescriptionA very fine circular study of a dog standing over a stranded sailor - his small wrecked boat is seen in the background. A later inscription with initials on the reverse, presumably taken from an inscription on the original album page. Unsigned. On wove.
Condition is typical for a picture of this age with some minor discolouration, but overall the appearance is very good.
