Katherine William-Powlett was a watercolourist, born in Fareham, Hampshire. She was the daughter of Admiral of the Fleet Baron Keyes. She studied painting with Edward Wesson and was a member of the SWA (1966-1985) and the Chelsea Art Society, the Armed Forces Art Society and the Winchester Art Society. She exhibited at the RI, RBA, RSMA and held solo shows at Clarges Gallery and Bladen Gallery.
