Juliet Greaves - 1980 Watercolour, Claverton Pumping Station

A delightful watercolour painting with red pen details by Juliet Greaves. The scene depicts the Claverton Pumping Station in the village of Claverton, in the English county of Somerset, which pumps water from the River Avon to the Kennet and Avon Canal using power from the flow of the River Avon. Signed and dated to the lower left-hand corner. Location is inscribed to the lower right-hand corner. Well-presented in a washline card mount and in a simple gilt effect frame. On watercolour paper.

Painting in fine condition. Some trapped dirt underneath the glazing to the mount. Small scuffs and scratches to the frame.
