Description

A fine late 18th or very early 19th Century watercolour showing a lake at the foot of a mountain with two figures sitting on the rocks in the foreground. The painting is presented in a smart off white card frame mount and a thin, gilt effect frame. There is a photocopy of the artist's signature taken from the back of the painting stuck to the reverse of the frame in an envelope. Unsigned. On laid.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including heavy discolouration. There have been two repairs, one at the top right and a one
