John Faber the Younger - Original 1738 Mezzotint. Lettered below the image with the title, and "from Sr. Peter Lely's Copy of the Celebrated Original Picture painted by Sr. Anthony Vandyke, which was Destroy'd in the Fire at Whitehall, Anno 1697, J. Faber fecit, 1738. Sold by J Faber at the Golden Head in Bloomsbury Square". Signed in plate. On wove. Condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration, as shown.
