John Doyle RWS (b.1928) - Signed & Framed 1978 Watercolour, Yarborough Monument

A very fine watercolour study by listed British artist John Doyle RWS (b.1928). Probably picturing the Yarborough Monument on the Isle of Wight, Doyle has beautifully captured the bright morning light, hitting the left side of the hilltop. Doyles distinctively minute brushstrokes gives a detailed and picturesque view of the British countryside. Well presented in a washline mount and simple wood frame. Signed and dated. On watercolour paper.

There is some discolouration to the page and light foxing to the mount, as shown. With light scuffing to the edges of the frame.

Framed Size: 31.3 x 37.8cm (12.3" x 14.9")
