A striking engraving of the young Prince Charles Edward Stuart with very bold detailing on the armour, drapery and embroidered sleeves. It is bordered by a faux stone frame. We also have available a second Jean Daulle engraving of Prince Edward's brother, Prince Henry Benedict Clement Stuart to make an historical pair. Both are on wove paper with a a card back. Signed in plate. On wove.


The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. Several scuff marks to the image surface. Trimmed within the plate lines.
