Even though this painting is unsigned, it was included with others by Jean-Baptiste Grancher. Well-presented in a painted frame with gilt details. On canvas board.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. Inspection under UV light shows no signs of restoration. Small scuffs and scratches to the frame.

Artist Biography
Jean-Baptiste Grancher (1911-1974) was a French artist and a native of Aubusson in Creuse. Grancher painted in France, Italy and Spain under the names of both J.B. Grancher and J.B. Granger (altered for contractual purposes). The artist exhibited in Paris at the Salon des Independents and at the Salon D’Autome, as well as in the US.
