Inge Clayton FRSA (1942-2010) - Signed 1987 Digital Print, Crouching Woman
DescriptionA striking digital reproduction of an original watercolour from admired feminist artist Inge Clayton. Here the women crouches in a confident and perhaps imposing manner. Clayton was known for her progressive depictions of the female form, rejecting the traditionally passive representations of women in art history. Signed and dated in pencil to the lower right corner. On wove.
With some pastel residue to the lower edge. Overall the appearance is very good.
