The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There is some creasing to the edges of the page and minor losses to all four corners.

This beautiful collection of Indian miniatures was probably taken from original manuscripts. The subjects vary from landscape and hunting scenes to ornate court interiors. The delicate and intricate brushwork has been expertly applied to the substrate with touches of ornate gold paint.
