I. Bruce - Fine Original 1850 Engraving. Drawn, engraved printed and published by I. Bruce, 85 Barrington St. Inscribed "I See Sir I See it comes to this". Inscribed indistinctly "Harriet" (?) to the upper left. Signed in plate. Condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration, surface dirt and creasing to the paper.

Collection Information

From a portfolio of 19th Century silhouettes. Although these appear to be genuine 19th Century silhouettes, we suspect that some of the dates and signatures may have been added later, and some the signed names may actually be the names of sitters rather than artists.
