A fine album of approximately 17 drawings executed in graphite, pen and ink and watercolour, depicting scenes at Blake Hall, Tivoli, Italy, portraits and studies after Raphael. All pages are inscribed with description and dates. The inside front cover is inscribed "H. Cheney / Gift of E. Cheney, Beverley, Sep 1824 Vol LV". Pages measure 25 x 35.5 cm. Some pages are missing.Condition
Condition is typical for pictures of this age including some discolouration and some wear to sheet edges, some pages have come loose within the album.
