Hanslip Fletcher RA - (British, 1874-1955) an excellent architecural scene in pen and ink of a Christopher Wren church viewed through archway (London) In excellent condition, signed lower right corner. Hanslip Fletcher was a painter in watercolour and etcher of architectural subjects, chiefly London scenes. He was born in London and educated at the Merchant Taylors' School. Exhibited at the Royal Academy and was represented in several public collections. Member of the Art Workers' Guild. His drawings appeared in the Sunday Times, the Daily Telegraph and other newspapers and magazines. He lived in London and died on 21st February 1955.Size: 47 x 32cm (18.5" x 12.6")Code | zin |
