Description
A very finely detailed early 20th Century watercolour with graphite details, by the artist H.J.W. This delicate portrait depicts a new bride in a white veil and gown, with a posy of flowers. The sitter has her hair styled suggestive of the 1830's, and is framed with a hand drawn graphite border. Well-presented in a thin gilt wooden frame, as shown. Initialled by the artist to the lower right. On wove.Condition
In very good condition overall. Some light surface discolouration to the page, mainly around the edges. The frame has only minor scuffing to the corners.
