Gordon Howes (1938-2013) - Signed 1995 Gouache, La Ventana
DescriptionA gouache panoramic study of La Ventana sandstone stripes by listed artist Gordon Howes. Clearly influenced by photo-realism, this is a more expressive example of his work compared to his more scientific fish studies. His bold use of colour and decisive brushstrokes translates well, in a more atmospheric landscape piece. Well presented in a card mount and gilt effect frame. With biographical details fixed to the reverse and a label with title and date. Signed and dated. On wove.
In excellent condition.
