The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There is some .c to the varnish and subsequently minor paint loss.

Artist Biography
Italian artist, Giovanni Barbaro was born in Amalfi in 1864. He married an English artist taking up residence in London. He enjoyed much commercial success throughout the Edwardian period exhibiting with the RA, RI, RSBA and the New Watercolour Society.
