Artist Biography
Born in Gaillac in the Midi-Pyrénées region, Georges Tournon is a French painter. He is mostly known for his characterful observational sketches of the vibrant characters he often met working in theatres and performance venues.
Tournon grew up around artists as the eldest son of painter, publicist and illustrator Raymond Tournon and watercolour and portrait painter Eléonore Marche. His brother Raymond Tournon is also a renowned artist.
