Frank Richards RBA - A little watercolour inscribed Chianti Bottle in Stand and monogrammed FR. On thin paper laid down on card.
From a cache of Frank Richards paintings and drawings literally rescued from a skip. Most have a price on the back: anywhere from 6d up to 2/6, so these must have been in some type of car boot sale at one point, pre-decimalization. I show a photo of the back of one of the items which was used as a sign. Not every picture is signed, but they are all unquestionably by Richards hand.
