An interesting mid 20th Century work in oil depicting the crest of a waterfall, with a mountainous landscape beyond. Well-presented in a substantial gilt wooden frame, with scrolling acanthus leaf moulding to the cove, and leaf-and-berry running pattern. Unsigned. On board.Condition
In good condition overall, for a picture of this age. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration. There is a small impact mark to the lower edge. Some light surface dirt. The frame has some small areas of restoration, but is very good overall.
