A fine highly detailed graphite drawing with body colour, depicting the East Window of the Chapel at King's College, Cambridge, England. This architectural study includes minute masonry details, including the crocketed pinnacles, lancet windows, gothic tracery and iron railings. The composition is well-framed in a gothic-arch gilt-edge mount and thin dark frame with gilt detail. Unsigned. On wove.

Condition

In good condition overall, with some cockling to the paper and discolouration and marks to the mount, particularly to the lower edge, as shown.
