Fine Early 20th Century Travel Album - Amsterdam and Anglesey
DescriptionAn interesting and uncommon early 20th Century artists travel journal, with various miniature watercolour scenes of both Amsterdam and North Wales. Entitled 'My Holiday: A Record in Pen & Pencil', the scenes include Amsterdam, Dort, Appleby Church, Penmon Priory, Llanfaes and Beaumaris Castle. Bound in green cloth boards, 8vo, with gilt edging and decorative page borders, as shown. Published: London, John F. Shaw and Co., 48 Paternoster Row. Unsigned and inscribed. On wove.
The book is generally sound, with some even discolouration to the pages, and slight scuffing to the corners and boards. Loose bindings and spine, but still attached. Very little foxing.
