Description
A wonderful study on figures fetching water from a tranquil lake. Inscribed to the reverse 'Beramangala Tank (near Kolar Gold Fields) given to me my by parents'.
The study is well presented in a mount and gilt effect frame. Signed and dated to the lower right.
On watercolour paper.
Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and minor foxing. Minor scuffs to the frame.
