The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration, some very minor foxing in the sky area and some dirt underneath the glazing. Generally in good condition.

Painter, born at Shardlow, Derbyshire who attended Derby School of Art. He was employed as a designer at the local porcelain works in Derby and also taught at the School of Art there. He is known to have exhibited at the Nottingham Society of Artists whose shows were held in Nottingham Castle Museum.
