Enoch Crosland (1860-1945) - 1991 Oil, A Walk through the forest

This delightful scene depicts the thick undergrowth of a forest, covered with jewel coloured ferns. To the bottom right a rabbit grazes in an open clearing. Signed and dated to the lower right. On canvas on stretchers.

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration to the varnish and some areas of craquelure to the surface.
