Edwin Edwards - Original Late 19th Century Graphite Drawing. Inscribed verso. Condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration.

Edwin Edwards (1823-79) was a lawyer by training but he also practised as an artist and etcher and exhibited at the Royal Academy in London. At his house in Sunbury-on-Thames he hosted many important artists including Haden, Whistler, Manet and Fantin-Latour. He subjects included cathedral cities and Cornish and Thames scenes.
