A quaint oil scene showing a row of thatched cottages in a beautiful English landscape full of flowers and trees. Two young girls can be seen heading off down the lane carrying a basket as their mother carries a bucket of water back to the house from the pump in front of the cottages.
The artist has signed illegibly in the lower left corner.The painting has been presented in a guilt effect frame with pinched corners and a gold mount.
On board.Condition
There is a small amount of foxing in the right portion of the painting and two horizontal marks near the right edge. The frame is in fine condition.
