A wonderfully detailed early 19th century graphite drawing of 'Woodham Walter Rectory'. The artist has given the date on the reverse '11th October 1831'. Wonderfully detailed, this graphite sketch is a fine example of superb draughtsmanship and composition. On watermark wove. Watermark reads 'Turnbull Superfine London Board', referring to the British artists' suppliers, in business from 1650-1950. 33B E.M.B. Signed. On wove.

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and areas of minor foxing.
