DescriptionA bucolic scene depicting a figure riding a grey horse through a river. Presented glazed in a cream mount and distressed gilt-effect wooden frame. Signed and dated to the lower-left edge. On watercolour paper laid to wove.
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some foxing, discolouration, and slight mount burn. Some slight gapping at the lower edge between the painting and mount. Some very slight dirt trapped beneath the glazing. Overall bright and in good condition for its age.
