Description
An unusual and slightly surreal study of a crumbling tower in an overgrown landscape. Two women and a child sit below the tower, peering up at the large window openings.
The image to the reverse depicts a gothic house with tall chimney. It appears unfinished.
Signed. On Drawing board.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and surface dirt. Areas of flecked paint loss and surface marks. Inspection under UV light shows no sign of restoration.
