A 20th century oil on board painted in an impressionist style. Depicting a continental market scene, with baskets of fruit and vegetables for sale. Areas of the piece have a thick impasto quality, especially the figures. Signed. On board.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some surface cracks to the paint at the lower edge. A small area of paint loss to the lower right (please see photos) and some minor scuffing to the corners of the board. Otherwise in fine condition.
