Overall the condition is very good. Inspection under UV light reveals no sign of restoration. With small scuffs to the edges of the frame.

David Hyde was born in Hertfordshire in 1947. He is best known for his landscape studies of the British countryside in oils, although in his later years Hyde has focused on watercolours. Hyde has exhibited with The Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour, The RWS, Christie's and The Wildlife Art Society. Hyde was a professional associate of the SAA for many years, and was on the judging panel for the societies 'Artist of the Year Awards'.
