A fine gouache landscape showing a figure returning from the desert on a camel, to a small town surrounded by mountains and palm trees. The artist has signed indistinctly to the lower right (possibly Karli or Kasli). The painting has been presented in a contemporary gilt effect frame with a gold mount. On wove.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There is light foxing and general dirtying across the surface. The signature has been partially cropped beneath the mount. The frame has chips to the outer edge and minor splitting to the upper right corner.
