Description
A selection of four studies showing trees and one, a church and graveyard. One study is in sepia watercolour and is inscribed "1st sketch in sepia of the elm tree from our window, Tunbridge Wells." It is dated August 1833. The rest are in graphite have been inscribed in verso.
On wove.Condition
The studies have dirtying to their surface and some discolouration. Some have marks in the corners from adhesive used to stick them to a wall.
