John Frank Swingler - Early 20th Century Watercolour, English Thatched Cottage

This fine and delicately detailed watercolour by the late 19th and early 20th Century artist John Frank Swingler depicts a typically rural English cottage, it's thatched roof nestled in a copse of woodland trees. Handsomely presented in a distressed light wood frame, fabric slip with titled plaque reading 'John Frank Swingler, Royal Academy 1905-1909'. Signed. On watercolour paper.

In very good condition overall, for a picture of this age. Some light discolouration. The frame is in good condition, with a distressed surface and slightly discoloured fabric slip.
