Description

A fine set of three framed hand-coloured 1816 engravings depicting scenes from the Battle of Waterloo. These include 'Colonel Gordon mortally wounded', 'Heroic attack on the French' and 'A dismounted Life Guardsman'. Two are inscribed to the lower edge 'London Published by Thomas Kelly Paternoster Row, 1816'. Well-presented in matching Hogarth-style frames with blue card mounts. Unsigned dated and inscribed. On wove.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and light foxing in places. The frames are in very good condition.
