An interesting study depicting the moment the Maia flying boat taking off from the River Tay with the Mercury seaplane on its shoulders in 1938. The Mercury seaplane set a record for the longest journey from the UK to South Africa. Inscribed to the lower right. Unsigned. On board.

The condition is good with some minor discolouration. Minor foxing.
