A charming watercolour study showing a young woman sewing with pen and ink detail. The study appears to be a fine copy of the painting 'Miss Vernon as The Seamstress' George Romney, as inscribed to the lower edge in elaborate calligraphy. Well presented in a gilt effect frame. Signed. On wove.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. With foxing spots visible to the page and scuffing to the edges of the frame.
