Gösta Bjelkebo (1904-1974) - Signed & Framed Pastel, Woman at The Dresser
DescriptionA striking study showing a young woman looking into a dresser mirror by Swedish artist Gösta Bjelke. The enigmatic character of the sitter has been beautifully visualised by Bjelke in rich tones and a distinctively modern style. Well presented in a wood frame with gilt detail and woven slip. Inscribed indistinctly on the reverse. Signed. On wove.
There is a light mark to the upper edge of the frame. Otherwise the condition of the artwork is fine.
