Glasgow born painter and etcher who studied at Glasgow School of Art and in London and Paris. He was elected an Associate of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers in 1914 and also taught at Chelsea Polytechnic, 1919-21. He exhibited at Connell & Sons, Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts, International Society of Sculptors, Painters & Gravers, Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool, New English Art Club, Royal Academy, Royal Hibernian Academy and at the Royal Scottish Academy.
