DescriptionA fine bright coastal landscape in watercolour with gouache details, by the artist Louis Mortimer (fl.1900-1930). Entitled 'Kynance Cove, Cornwall', the artist has depicted the rugged headland and sandy coves of the Lizard Peninsula. On canvas paper. Well-presented within a titled double washline mount and ornate gilt effect frame, as shown. Signed and inscribed.
In very good condition overall. There are some light foxing spots to the upper edge, and some mount burn. The frame is in very good condition, with light scuffing and a tiny moulding loss to the lower right corner.
