Artist Biography

An American by birth, he left a successful architectural practise in New York where he built several churches, to take up painting and to reside in St. Ives, Cornwall where he was elected a member of the STISA, 1928-31 and was also involved with the St. Ives Arts Club. Little is known about his career as an artist but he designed the World War I memorial in St. Ives which he gave as gift to his adopted town.
