DescriptionA finely drawn early 20th century pen drawing with watercolour wash. Depicting the French town of Hesdin. A Casualty Clearing Station was placed near the town in April 1917 to August, 1918. Painted on wove laid to thick card. Signed and dated.
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and minor foxing. Small 1 cm tear to upper edge.
