Peter Beadle is a contemporary New Zealander painter known for his depictions of rugged landscapes. Born in 1933 in New Zealand, Beadle is recognized as the leading landscape painter of his country. In 1999, his nation’s government awarded him with the Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit award for his contribution to the arts and conservation. The artist lives and works in the Central Otago, New Zealand.
