Description

A fine aquatint with etched details, depicting two renaissance men with swords, looking through the keyhole of a large wooden door. Inscribed above 'Published 1923 by The Museum Galleries, 26 Museum Street, London'. Signed in graphite to the lower right corner. On wove laid to thick card.

Condition

There is some surface discolouration, expected for a picture of this age, and mount burn around the edges. The edges are also torn and have some adhere paper to the upper edge, as shown.
