Marius Hubert Robert (1885-1966) - 1910 Watercolour, French Street Scene
DescriptionA wonderful street scene by Marius Hubert Robert. The light washes of pastel colour and expressive brushstrokes give this composition an impressionist quality. With touches of graphite. Well presented in a gilt mount and wooden frame with reeding detail. Signed and dated. On wove.
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some minor discolouration and light foxing. Minor marks to the frame at the corners and edges.
