Marius Hubert Robert (1885-1966) - 1910 Watercolour, French Street Scene

A wonderful street scene by Marius Hubert Robert. The light washes of pastel colour and expressive brushstrokes give this composition an impressionist quality. With touches of graphite. Well presented in a gilt mount and wooden frame with reeding detail. Signed and dated. On wove.

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some minor discolouration and light foxing. Minor marks to the frame at the corners and edges.

49 x 17cm (19.3" x 6.7")
Framed Size: 72.2 x 41.1cm (28.4" x 16.2")
