This week we are pleased to present further additions to our popular collection of contemporary oils by the artist Ben Carrivick. We also bring you a selection of delightful 20th century watercolours by C. H. Thompson depicting various landscape and street scenes. Sulis Fine Art is pleased to bring you this impressive collection by Polish artist Leszek Dabrowski.
Dabrowski was born in Sandomierz, Poland but was brought up in Liverpool. He gained a degree in Fine Arts and during his post-graduate year traveled to Holland, Germany, Czechoslovakia and Poland searching for inspiration; finding rich visual stimulus from artists such as Friedensreich Hundertwasser and Paul Klee.
Dabrowski has exhibited widely in London as well as in his native Poland. His work is part of various private collections in Great Britain and the USA.
Sulis Fine Art is pleased to present further additions to our highly popular collection of oil paintings by contemporary British artist Ben Carrivick. His work is largely figurative and experiments with normative conventions of beauty. His refreshingly modern style takes inspiration from modern figurative painters such as Egon Schiele. Carrivick now resides in Cornwall, where he continues to paint in his garden studio.
We are pleased to bring you a charming collection of watercolour studies by the British artist C.H. Thompson. Many depict panoramic coastal scenes, idyllic villages and landscapes. A few studies are dated and inscribed with a location allowing us to date part of the collection to the mid 20th century.
