A delightful, light watercolour beach study with figures searching for crabs by the artist Barbara P. Morgan. Presented in a washline mount and a simple wood frame, as shown. Signed in the lower right hand corner. Signed and incsribed on the reverse. On watercolour paper.


In fine condition. There are some scuffed edges to the frame.

Artist Biography

Barbara P. Morgan was a contemporary British artist, who primarily worked in pastel and watercolour. Barbara instils a sense of vibrancy and dynamism within her compositions, well suited to her chosen medium. Her work has been exhibited at The Mall Galleries, London, and the Laing Art Gallery. Her husband Edward was also an artist, and both of their collections have been acquired by Sulis Fine Art.
