A delightful watercolour painting by the artist Arthur Royce Bradbury ARWA, depicting a deserted farmhouse in Dorset. Signed to the lower margin. Title and date to the lower right-hand corner. Well-presented in a washline card mount and in a thin wooden frame, as shown. On watercolour paper.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and foxing, mainly to the sky area. Minor scuffs to the frame.

Artist Biography
Arthur Royce Bradbury was a painter and etcher, born in Preston, Lancashire. He studied at the St. John's Wood School of Art and Royal Academy Schools and is best known for his marine sketches, especially as in his youth he was a merchant marine cadet. He exhibited many works at Walker's Gallery, London, and at the RA, RWA and RI. Examples of his work are in the collections of Guernsey Museum and Art Gallery, IWM, Poole Museum Service, National Maritime Museum, National Army Museum and Russell-Cotes Art Gallery & Museum and He was elected an Associate of the RWA.
